    funny...but typically nba players find out they got traded from the media before the teams tell them anyway.

    Yeah, maybe TMac wanted to give them a taste of their own medicine by going through the media? He probably heard through the media he was being shopped or whatever so he told the media about his surgery before the team.

    This does happen to most nba players where they hear it through the mdia the exception is that "all stars" or big name players usually get notified by the team first to avoid any hard feelings if the trade does not go through.

    I didn't say it justifed his actions. Anyways, I just don't see any team wanting to take on T-Mac. Next year for sure, but feel like a team like the Clippers would rather use Baron's production for this year than to trade for a guy that might not even play for them this season and possibly next.
