I had an argument with my friend and here are the questions:

If James Harden replaces Lebron on the Lakers would Lakers better? Worse? About the same? What seed and how many wins would Lakers get in the west?

If LeBron replaces Harden on the Rockets would Rockets better? Worse? About the same? What seed and how many wins would Rockets get in the west?

With the way Harden playing? Is there even a clearer answer? NO **** HARDEN! Remember this kids. Lebron james is trash when not playing with 2 other all-stars and not in the East. The man probably might miss the playoffs this year. LOL

Tough schedule. Basketball Reference is only giving the Lakers a 6% chance to make the playoffs

Harden is easily better than Bron in the regular season...Harden has been the best regular season player in the NBA since 14-15

Bron is always the best player in the postseason tho

Lakers would be better, and Rockets would be worse

yeah but replace harden with lebron since harden joined houston and harden is more likely to get a chip in the east than lebron with the rockets

Asking hypothetical questions like these in the middle of one of the greatest offensive seasons in NBA history is to either prove a point or to try and downplay Harden's greatness.

I feel like Harden would take that Lakers squad to a top 3 seed at this point

We have quite literally surrounded Harden this season with G leaguers and waived rejects and yet we are winning.

The Lakers would be better. Harden is essentially a 1 man offense, and our offense top 2 or 3.

Rockets in the playoffs with LeBron (at least last year's LeBron) would be a little better

I think both teams could get better, honestly.

LeBron would give the Rockets a more well rounded playoff team.

Harden would elevate the Lakers with a one man show.

Rockets would be 9th and Dantoni would be rumored to be getting fired.

This is why you shouldn't be friends with Bronsexuals.

lebron isnt healthy... if he never got injured they would be right in there with rockets and blazers. they were a 4 seed, the difference is their best player got hurt and ours didnt.

i always compare james to lebron because they are similar in that they can control a game, score 40+ and still effortlessly dish 12+ assists. lebron is a little better player overall because of his size, but james is still a big guard.

i think both teams would be about the same if completely healthy.

I think if we replaced Harden with LeBron, and replaced LeBron with Gordon Hayward, then replaced Hayward with Mo Bamba, then replaced Bamba with Matthew Dellavadova, then replaced Dellavadova with Pau Gasol+Lonzo Ball/Brandon Knight, this thread might become interesting.

Dude makes a solid point. I can’t stand Lebron and think Harden is better, but Harden has played 15 more games and our team is 5 games ahead.
