Just hope that what never thinks any Rockets can amount to anything. We'll be fine.

I would take Anthony Davis over Griffin 100/100 times.

He's a stats guy, not a winner. Good 3rd option to have, but not a superstar. A rich man's Shareef Abdur Rahim.

My eyes glisten with joy whenever I see a 'what' thread make its way onto the board

Blake Griffin has impressed me lately too. I agree with the premise that he seems to have turned a corner last playoffs and I would love to have him on our team. That said, there are at least five or six people I would definitely rather have than him.

Great post. DJ doesn't give his props for making that entire team tougher.

    Of course, he's a superstar...

I hate him as much as anybody else, but he's easily one of best big men in basketball. Way better than SAR.

Never winning a game beyond the second round is something griffin has in common with memphis so its understandable

    Lol. He's a perfect example of a jibba-poo-roo.

A jibba-poo-roo is someone comic book reading beta male's like yourself and the OP overestimate because they make it seem like they are doing much more than they are to the untrained eye. Due to his athleticism, willingness to geberate body contact and muscular build, you think he's dominating but he's really not impacting the game all that much. A rich man's Corey Maggette.

And anyone who lives in LA will tell you he disappears down the stretch, aside from a few odd jumpers and rebounds.

    Jibba-poo-roo. Don't forget that kid.
