The mascots of the NBA wanted Air Congo to drop Sideshow Bob without a parachute. Mascot lives matter.

The Toronto feed was better. It was like a play by play fight from a hockey game.

Both guys had enough sense not to actually land a punch. Considering the potential money lost, I would do likewise.

So the TV commentators definition of "lands a punch" is an off target airswing by both players..

At least they threw punches . I've been watching classic NBA videos a bit today . I definitely miss part of the physicality of the old days . As recently as the mid 90's the game was really physical .

That malice in the palace event ,looking back , was a huge influence on the current NBA.

I like the "euro" style and space and pace to a certain degree . But more less contact being allowed has led to more flopping which IMO is a huge disgrace .

There needs to be a middle ground between letting guys beat the **** out of each other and flopping being rewarded .

The closest thing to a fight we had in years in the NBA. Are they starting to man up?

If Ibaka would've landed that punch... it might've ended Lopez's season. Don't know what sideshow Bob was thinking there punching the ball out of Ibaka's hands.

This just goes to show athletic prowess doesn't always carry over sport to sport. They both looked like punks with zero boxing skill. I saw better girl fights freshman year in public high school.

lol come on man they only had a few seconds to throw 1 punch. Who knows how the fight would have turned out if they had more time.
