I started smoking tobacco back in high school as a senior, smoked for three years and then quit for three years. I then started the habbit again back in 2009. Last time I quit the prices per pack were going up and I was just some poor college kid looking to buy booze. Now that I have a job I can't use the price as an excuse. I want to try the nicotine gum (just for the hell of it, too) but I had a coworker who chewed it for 2 weeks, gave up and went back to smoking. Now, another coworker has got me hooked back on weed (sort of, that stupid K-2, spice, space, etc), was sober for 6 years. I really want to use this as an excuse to stop smoking tobacco. I know I can do it, because the cigarette tobacco is bad for my health, but if I upgrade to weed then it is going to mess with my mental state. Though I don't act nearly as paranoid smoking weed this time around. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hah, before I read your post I was going to suggest that you just pick up weed instead. I know some people have tried e-cigarettes to varying degrees of success. I imagine there are posters here with more knowledge about them than me.
The K-2/Spice stuff is probably worse for you than actual cigarettes. I would stay far, far away from that stuff.
Well it is, sort of. It contains synthetic cannabis (I looked it up because I wasn't familiar with it.)
I have a coworker that quit smoking by taking caffeine pills as a substitute for coffee and ate carrots when he wanted to smoke. He swears by it. Weird, but it worked for him.
Lol @ you saying weed is bad. The spice and tobacco you're smoking is so much ****ing worse. If you really think cannabis will harm your body then just buy a vaporizer.
