You are confusing spamming a play style with talent.

Mgrady and AI were from an era where ts% wasn't really taken into consideration and spamming record amount of threes wasn't seen kindly upon.

Are you telling me if Mgrady was playing into today's game he wouldn't mimick current styles of nothing but threes and drive ins thus increasing his ts% to a comparable level to Harden's.

In Michael Jordan's prime years, his ts% was between 58-60%.

Harden is a better scorer than Jordan?

Spamming a play style? Harden shot the 2 and the 3 better than either. Gets to the line and hits his free throws better than either. Passes better than either. Drives better than either.

As for Jordan I don’t get it? Yes Harden is a more efficient scorer than Jordan. Jordan was pretty meh at 3s and a slightly worse free throw shooter. Obviously Jordan is a better midrange scorer, but I think I would give Harden the edge on just about everything else on the offensive end. Shooting in general, passing, dribbling. But Jordan is who he is, like Hakeem, because they were also equally good defensively so don’t try to twist this into me saying Harden is in Jordan territory.

I still think our stars are butthurt bc Melo got kicked to the curb to accommodate Bzdelik's return... and it rubs off to other guys on the team as well (CC, EGo...)

(Rox brought in Melo - at the desire of CP3/Harden/DM - Jeff quit (due to Denver history) and MDA wasnt pleased (NY history). Defense died wo Bzdelik and MDA wouldnt properly utilize Melo. DM struck a deal for Bzdelik's return - if Melo was removed... Stars are pissed)

I'm not saying they are trying to tank - they're not gonna go out and purposefully hurt their brand image... they're gonna work their stat line.... but they're not as 'team oriented' as last year...

Personally, I think Harden was sending a message game 6 vs Spurs... I dont think he was just soooo drained he fell apart - he was pissed... and rightfully so, with MDA expecting him to cover Pau and LMA after Nene went down...

Folks can say all they want about Ariza and Luc - but their absence shouldn't result in the drop-off we're seeing...

Harden ayong defense isn't going to transcend him to the best player of all time.

If you think Harden is a better scorer than Michael Jordan, you are lost.

Well technically box plus minus encompasses everything on the offensive end. My point was if you think Harden and Mj aren’t in similar categories offensively you are off and if you think Iverson and Tmac are anywhere close to Harden you are way off.

We have gotten way off track here.

My only point was that Harden is a whole world better than Tmac or Iverson ever we’re. You brought in MJ for some reason.

Here’s another pretty good list that illustrates my point.

That starts with MDA. At least McHale had the balls to keep Harden on the bench in Game 6 vs the Clippers.

The CP3 led rotation with House and Nene was absolutely killing it. A good coach with a good and awake staff would take notice in that and keep them in the game until they go stale. Then you can bring in the starters if the bench can't close it.

Last year I was happy - this year, I am not.....as a WINNER, I expect more from my team.

Don't settle for letting him getting away with doing a half assed job.....hold him accountable.

he can be so much better if he wants to be.
