I need an Air Conditioning guy to come find the source of some condensation leaks in my duct work. I don't want to pay for a massive company's overhead. I used Weeks before and wasn't impressed with their work or their bill.
I've been using cool care. It's off of Beltway 8, in a building that looks like storage units. Figure they don't have a lot of overhead. Prices seemed reasonable.
Try posting on the Nextdoor app. Your neighbors probably have a lot of reasonable opinions for the immediate area. Plus Nextdoor can also offer nice soap opera entertainment as your neighbors argue.
Thanks. I really respect and appreciate the opinions of folks on this board more than my neighbors, who consistently spend more than they make and throw away massive amounts of perfectly good stuff. I was on Nextdoor for about a week before I deleted it. I also just saw a tweet about Nextdoor being the go-to app for Karens, so I laughed when this came up.
Gotcha. I've gotten great recommendations from that app, but you're generally right about the rest of that stuff. That's why I mentioned the soap opera part because a lot of times it's funny, but other times I just have to say "really?" lol.
I have a hard time even looking at my FB neighborhood watch page. It's either lost dogs or people b****ing about HOA infringements.
I have the same feeling towards Nextdoor recommendations and shady google reviews. I prefer CF approval. Anyways, house AC went out and they charging 9k, I dont have home warranty. What's a good company?
These guys but they’re in Friendswood and may be too far to come to your place. Very honest. https://maps.app.goo.gl/b2yoL9mvVwCXfVft8?g_st=ic
I just had about 5k worth of repairs and was recommended to Air Tech Of Katy (formerly Complete Comfort) and they were super easy to deal with and they had it fixed within hours
9k in repairs or the whole she bangs? I had to replace everything, 2 units and whatnot and it was 12k. My house is an igloo now
