Sucks to say, but a team with someone as pathetically slow as Anderson starting will never win a championship. 100% sure he is tradeable, as in I believe we would find takers.. after we get eliminated hopefully Morey trades him this summer and sets us up in a stronger position next year. I don't understand how Morey became so sold on Anderson when he moves like a snail.
Well, we had to sign someone at that point, and Ryan fits D'Antoni and Harden game so...but yeah, if Horford would've said "yes" Ryan wouldn't be a Rocket right now.
this dude had a better game than both Beverley and EGo 18pts, 6rebs. why do you hate this guy so damn much?
I don't think he remotely deserves as much hate as he's getting tonight either. If people want to hate someone, hate Ariza. Or hell, even blame Beverley, Capela or Nene. All of those guys had far worse games tonight than Anderson did. Anderson hit some shots and did a pretty solid job crashing the glass. That's as much as I could have asked for from the guy.
In all honesty I have no hate towards Ryan. Even though his shot has been struggling, he was pretty big for us tonight. Now on the flip side id KILL for Gordon Hayward replacing Ariza.
Gordon was a net negative still because of his 3 shot still not going consistently and being owned down low.
SMH He is struggling mightily. It does not inspire confidence for the rest of the playoffs. Rocket River
He's the Channing Frye of 2017 Rockets Playoffs. Channing Frye shot 40% during the season with the Suns. He shot 34% in the playoffs. After laying goose eggs the first two games. 18pts 6rbs is just not enough. He needed to go at least 25pts or more.
If Anderson isn't hitting his 3s consistently he's next to useless because he usually gets owned down low and overall on the defensive end.
Maybe because he's 2 for 18 from three with everything on the line and he was brought here specifically for that reason. To make threes!
