Is there some post game interview etiquette you guys would like Kobe to mind? Hell the man owns his own foreign team, and imo, is arguably the best player in the league.

I wish Francis would break out of the basketball coach-to-player rhetoric, and say what he really believes like Hakeem and Kobe, more often.

Kobe just had a recent interview with nba.com, and from it, he doesn't really seem too arrogant or whatever. The interesting thing is how he compares himself and his style of play to Jordan:

Also he mentioned the possibility of a university education at Stanford?? Dang, I guess he does have brains.

First, I used to dislike Bryant as well, but this year i finally got the nba league pass, and have seen the man play game to game and have come up with the following conclusions:

    1) best player in the league bar none

    2) most entertaining

    3) most athletic

    4) doesn't give a rat's a$$ what you or I or the media think about his game.

SLC said it perfectly, we just hate him because his isn't on our team. Hell, Laker fans berate him after an "off" game. He may shoot too much, and pose after every dunk, but damn who the hell is better than him? Garnett? Duncan?

So what if he's arrogant. He's 22 years old! Would you rather watch his act, or that stimulating 64-56 game the other night. If you at basketball as entertainment, then you will appreciate Bryant's game.

I would trade Francis and Mobley.

I agree with Rickem on everything....except the trade Mobley/Francis part. I really didn't like Kobe the last few years, but then this year I started looking at him more and more, studying his game, and seeing what made him different from other NBA superstars past and present. Now, he has become my favorite player in the L.

Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!
