Trade for Rubio and if harden will not surrender the majority of the ball handling duties to him then get rid of him. -hollic
Ummmmmm. If CP3 would have been here last year he would have sniffed out early that we needed multiple playmakers and he would've been insisting on acquiring somebody else that could dribble and pass.
so harden didn't have anyone "else that could dribble and pass" yet its his fault and his "selfishness" held back a WCF team last year who apparently does not have anyone "else that could dribble and pass"
Do you think Morey is stupid? At the very least Harden didn't ask for anybody else. He wanted to roll with Gordon and Lou. Harden WANTED Lou over a distributor. Last year's team was built out with Harden's approval. Harden sees the game through his lense. Hence we got Lou, another score first guard who CANNOT create for others but somehow Harden was convinced he was the needed piece. And yes, the Rockets did get Harden's approval on that deal and would not have traded for Lou if Harden hadn't wanted him. Morey knows better. That was another loser trade.
LOL you're blaming Harden too for not having a championship around him? so harden's a franchise killer? LOL btw can't you just be happy and thankful that we have 2 of the best and most unselfish playmakers on the team? http://stats.nba.com/players/passin...016-17&SeasonType=Regular Season&CF=MIN*GE*30
I'm blaming Harden for this team having only one playmaker on it for the last several years before this one. It was on him. We were trying to appease him. I also clearly stated his ongoing flaw, trying to do too much in crunch time when the opponent is ganging him. He has consistently failed that test. I stand by these remarks.
so he disapproved a trade for Rubio? who were the playmakers that Morey could have gotten but Harden disaproved of? so you give harden all the credit for the 55 wins last year because he built it right?
Yes, he got us to 55 regular season wins. No doubt about that. True, he didn't want Rubio. We could have acquired multiple playmakers including Rubio, Rondo, Bledsoe, Knight, McCollum, Barea, Thomas, Teague, and Lowry. Harden wanted none of them.
where's your proof that Morey were in talks for those and Harden said no? so you would have chosen all of those over Ryno? and they would have gotten us a championship?
I was in the room with b_allholic when Harden said he didn't want any of those players. Morey had them all on a powerpoint presentation and Harden swiped through them like he was on Tinder. True story.
But why is that ellipses so long? It's literally twice as big as an ellipses needs to be. I'm going to assume you're overcompensating for something.
Yes, Paul handles the rocks with more decisively on the safer/efficient end or he takes less of chance compare to Harden hence better %age or easier pass to catch etc. With all that being said.... while everyone praises CP3's # but everyone still fails to mentioned when Harden is on the floor he goes against opposing team's starting PG while Paul goes against mainly against the opposing teams 2ndary PG.. If they switch role & have Harden goes against opposing team's secondary PG, i believe harden would put up even crazier # than he's already doing because he's constantly on attack mode.
you're just making **** up insider wannabe not sure why clutch hasn't banned you yet with your fake news
Against the Bulls w/Paul in 76 possessions 79 points 103.95 actual offensive rating w/Paul out: 23 possessions 38 points 165.22 actual offensive rating Briante only in for 3 possessions/2 points. Most of the efficiency of the second was unit due to Ariza hitting a string of threes including a banker (luck). And they were going up against a very weak Bulls bench. Starters with Paul started off hot but had a string of bad possessions that torpedoed what was a very efficient start.
When both guys are in there Harden is most often defended by the best opponent defender between their 2 and 3. Paul is defended by the opposing pg unless there is a switch.
No need more making excuses as we go I prefer to just let the numbers speak. Luck and randomness is always a part of the game.
