I am really proud of the Rockets today.

Frustrating game to watch. Actually, a pretty terrible game to watch in terms of keeping the anger away.

Still, the Rockets brought it. They may have lost one game but they are really showing the potential to become one of the top teams in the league. Down by 13, they showed heart to make this a game to watch even until the 1 minute mark. Without Yao and McGrady (a symbolic absence anyways for TMac) for most of the game, they still persevered and kept it close. Remember, above all, this was a Rockets team playing it's fourth game in five days, a Rocket team that was on a 3-day road trip and a Cavs team that has been undefeated at home.

The Cavs made some tough shots and Yao went cold, but this game was always within reach. Just the fact that it was so close...it may be a really bitter consolation for some, but the fact that this game was so close shows just how far the team has come along. This easily could've been a repeat of the Lakers blowout...but the team was clutch and held on to make it respectable.

I am proud of the Rockets. And I think we should all look forward to June. This sounds like one of those crappy "half-full" posts that always pop up after a tough loss. It is. It's nice to write these things out from my viewpoint...and I hope it's something others can see as well.

I don't know why, but I am not proud. It was a bad game. Bad effort.

    I am proud.

If the refs were so blatantly saying **** you Houston, I'll lose all desire to play.

    The Rox played great, the refs killed the game. Cavs suck;

    -4th game in 5 nights.
-Playing a team that has not lost at home
-Yao Ming being taken out of the game by idiot officiating
-Tracy opening a frosty, tall can of quit

And we were still in this one.

I'm proud of em for the effort tonight.

Damn right. Great effort by EVERY player. Just too much home cooking tonight.

Anyone else notice Ron getting feistier over the last two games? He looked a little chippy last night but he was ready for war tonight.

I have some respect for James' toughness too.

it was a bad game but only one bad game, which was played on a back to back w/ tmac having a knee. should of won the game vs cleveland but o well, team is still in progress.

but the rox have done good this season. tmac played november to help rox w/ their tough november which is always the toughest month for houston. yao ming has to do better than he is. keep getting random injuries but w/e, teams are sposed to pull through and thats wat houston is doing.

houston is a balling team :)

I'm proud of all of the Rockets except Tmac. If he was hurt, he should have stayed on the bench, if he was healthy he was dogging it.

    5 against 8 (5cavs + 3 refs)

we can beat that team, but we can't beat refs

f.u.c.king ref ruin yao's show in front of the states

ppl will keep saying yao suck

the league wanna make cavs like mj's bulls

everyteam will lose in cav's home game

I respect what the OP said, but I can't share his optimism because when the heat was on we couldn't get the job done despite making some effort.

They played with heart, Yao and Artest were very aggressive in the fourth quarter.

    1. Ref sucks
    2. Time to send T-Mac home

    5 nites - 4 games
With Yao's early foul trouble and ABSENCE of t-mac. We lost by 9 points, against a homecourt team and i say i am proud of them.

What's funny is Rafer Alston is only mentioned once in this thread.
