You don't think he could be the best player on the Vipers? He should be the featured player on the team that doesn't have a list of high end talent. Doesn't mean that much really being the best player on your G league squad. Now if I'd said MVP of the G-League I could see you saying pump the brakes.

You asked point blank, how will I view him? No one has even seen the dude step on the court in the NBA. That question is equivalent to asking a blind person what will you think of broccoli after you see it? The blind persons answer should be "Huh???!! WTF are you talking about? How the hell do I know?!!".

Just trying to give you perspective.

To help you out here, the question should be, Based on what you know, how do you think Zhou will perform in his Rookie season? You asked specifically - How will he be viewed? Which is like asking - What are you going to think of your food after you eat it? I haven't had a bite yet and don't know what it is but you want me to tell you what my opinion is on how it is going to be once I eat this mystery meal. Maybe it's just a communication break down.

Not anticipating he'll see much PT or time with the Rockets this season, but I think he'll do well in the RGV. Hopefully put on some muscle and adjust to the game differences.

I expect him to average 18 and 7 with the Vipers.

He needs to be a productive D-League player first, let alone play for our roster.

    That said, I like Zhou.

I'd really would like for him (for about 20 games or so) to be like our victory cigar.... last 3-4 mins and feature him lol

I wish the OP had included "I have no freakin' idea!" as an option. Why? Because I have no freakin' idea how this cat will develop. Right now, I view him as a very tall, very slender basketball player. By the end of the season, I hope he is a more skilled very tall guy, with at least a few pounds added to his frame. Not to much weight gain too soon, though. I thought Yao put on too many pounds, and I'm using him as an example not because he is also Chinese, but because I really think the big fella over did it, weight wise. Regardless, I hope this season goes well for Zhou.

Maybe it was the competition but he looked good. Moved quite well for his length.

Rudy is a center, period! This kid can guard 3, 4 and 5. Greek Freak w/o the handles and a little less mobil but Zhou is a better shooter
