He should be looked at as a guy who should get at least some playing time every single game. He can put it on the floor, shoot threes and block shots. Give him some trust MDA!! Under many coaches he would’ve gotten more playing time, guaranteed..

dude, he has zero block shots and zero 3 pointers made.

i agree that he should get some more playing time. this usually means we are winning.

I like Zhou. Seems like a down to earth guy focused completely on basketball.

I love to see him get more playing time. If anything, his defense is probably better than half the roster anyways.

These are Zhou Qi's Highlights vs Knicks

That cross on Porzingis though and on top that finding an open man!
His basketball I.Q. is definitely there

He's a guilty joy at this point. Like I made sure I got back to my tube midway through the 4th(I had check out at the end of the third) to see him play.

He's already our most skilled versatile big on the squad.

The matchup with Porzingis was fun to see. The unicorn vs the potential unicorn.

I have to say I am the same way. My laptop died as I seen him taking off his warmups on the sideline and I almost cried . Luckily I got to see the Porzingis crossover as it powered back on

If Zhou had one year of college basketball, he would be playing with
confidence. He needs one year before he can become a regular rotation player.

The thing that impresses me the most about him is his defenisive awareness. He looks super effective and sharp to be a rookie. He really has intuition and TALENT for defense, not just raw material. How he moves, how he reads the offensive player and anticipates to the move and the shot, how well he uses his length.... He's gonna be a terrific defender.

****, he's very exciting to watch. What a steal.

In all fairness, @OTMax said Zhou "can shoot threes" -- he said nothing about making them. :D

Haha true, but he actually can make them. I mean one almost went in and he just started throwing them up like we were trying to get a new record :)

I used to think he would be just a shot blocker, but his overall defense will be valuable once he gets stronger.
