Doesn't Capela have a wider frame than Noel?

So you say Noel isn't better than Capela? Or worth trading for?

You really gotta ask? Philly would jump all over that deal. Capela at this point of their perspective careers is much better than Noel. We would stupid to do that deal.

EVERY PLAYER EXCEPT JAMES HARDEN ON THE ROSTER, is NOT a STARTER IN THE NBA. Pat is Not a Starter, Trev is NOT a STARTER, Ryno is NOT A STARTER, Capela is A D-League Player. How does Morey not know this????

You aren't always wrong, just most of the time, but you are by far the loudest on the way there

I thought the NBA was moving away from traditional perceptions of player positions. Look at us, Harden a traditional 2 is playing traditional 1 and then some. I think the whole team is designed to be outside of the 1 - 5 mold and work on the fact that the system makes the players successful which it's doing. Taking individuals out of a box and freeing them up on the court to maximize their individual talents is what we are witnessing and it's taking a team from that many were calling middle of the pack before the season to Elite. Sure the Defense needs upgrading, or a new strategy, but wins are still being had despite a normal slump every team goes through every year (except the Warriors last year). I think the focus should be on how the talent is being utilized currently and not necessarily whether one player is a perfect fit for a position or not.

What are you, the Duck of Death? Careful, or you may be Unforgiven for describing 4 starters as backups. Whoops, sorry. 3 backups and a "reject" from the D-League.

We're the same team that was burning and pillaging the association like Hannibal on his way to Rome, back in December. Yes, that December. 15-2, with wins over Golden State at home, OKC at home, with the Spurs just squeaking by us in Houston. Not until losing the second game of a back to back to the T-Puppies in the middle of January did we really start to lose our mojo.

By that time, The Rocks were (and still are) really tired and a bit beat up, thanks to a brutal first half schedule. Yes, we could use an upgrade here and there, and I'm sure Daryl is doing what he can do, but panicking when we have been exceeding expectations all season is a bit much, in my humble opinion.

Our wing defenders haven't been a good job staying in front of their man therefore putting our big men in that position to either challenge or stay with their man.

One is rotting on the bench on a 18 win team, the other is the starting center on a 37 win team. Please, if you want to argue potential Noel may have more but as of now Capela is better. He's worth maybe a 2nd rd pick

Some posters are just too funny.

A few months ago: we're barely gonna make the playoffs.
Today: WHY THE F ARE THEY NOT GOING TO WIN 60 THESE GUYS ARE IDIOTS.

When we drafted Capela: this guy needs to be overseas for 2 seasons before attempting an NBA career.
Today: WHY IS THIS 22 YEAR OLD GETTING PUSHED AROUND BY LARGER PEOPLE SOMETIMES??

As if our interior defense is all on Clint. Give it a break guys. This is a sh*tty defensive roster, and we choose to focus on our strengths (scoring) rather than weaknesses (defense). It's the same reason Tyson Chandler's defensive stats are bad this season. In today's NBA, protecting the paint is more a team effort than it ever was. How many people are anchoring defenses like back in the day when the league was LITTERED with defensive C's you could plug in the C position and transform the outlook of your defense?

Clint doesn't need to be an amazing defender to be a really good player. And he is a really good player. And he is 22. Think of a person you know who is 22. In 2020 he will be 25. Think about that.

Super glad we have Capela. On top of what he's achieved thus far, he's going to be one of the hottest commodities in the NBA once we reach the end of our games. Lots of teams would trade us their C for Clint.

LOL @ those who say our four starters are backups or D-leaguers. You are either WRONG or Harden is indeed gawd dragging this group of rejects to a record in the West better than LeBron's defeding champs in the East.

I tend to believe that our role players are better than a lot of people give them credits for. We do need another big gun and we need to soar up our interior defense.
