Great thread man. Great poll. Proving time and time again that you are more than a circle jerking middle schooler

    Gotta give 110%.

In seriousness, it depends on the defense. If they are open or it is late on the clock, they are fine. Problems can happen when NBA players think they have more time than they do in mid range.

We saw what happened last year when the Spurs dared us to take midrange shots and we didn’t. Or was that Harden just quitting?

All depends on what the defense gives you....

Having a gameplan is great... but you have to adjust to according to the defense you're facing....

It was cool to see Chris and James work their mid range zones a bit. Chris in particular is so good in that area.

    Zero

Honestly, the only time I would like to see a mid range is in the waning moments of a close game and it is more important to have a higher probability of making a basket rather than the efficiency of the shot

You guys don't understand how CRITICAL it is that we decide exactly how many 2-point shots to take ahead of time, regardless of opponent and situation.

Also, we need to nail down the specifics on these:

    • How many total dribbles per game. Can't overstate this enough!
    • Total number of "stirring the pot" gestures.
    • How many cups of Gatorade to prepare. Too few can cause dehydration and cramps, but too many is just wasting Tilman's money.

Or instead, we can just hoop in MDA's system, which has already brought us farther than most CFers predicted when we hired the guy. Really, who gives a **** where the shots are originating from if they're going in?

In close situations, like when a lockdown curry is on you. Worst thing you can do is shoot contested 3s.

Ryno and Cp3 should take them along with Harden. That gets them going.

Thought we struck a good balance last night. Harden and Paul both shot a handful and were successful. Always gotta take what the defense gives you. Obviously don't go nuts with them though.
