SEC released its conference schedule, how will they fair? Here is the schedule (my prediction) Sept. 8: FLORIDA (L) Sept. 29: vs. Arkansas (L) Oct. 6: at Ole Miss (W) Oct. 20: LSU (L) Oct. 27: at Auburn (L) Nov. 3: at Mississippi State (toss up) Nov. 10: at Alabama (L) Nov. 24: MISSOURI (toss up) A losing conference record for sure seems like the outlook to me. 3 conference wins looks like their max potential. Maybe I'm biased being a Longhorn but I don't know, I really see them losing all those games..
the 3 wins max prediction is a little extreme. The ags didnt have a great record this year but they do have talent and had they not blown all those big leads, people would have a much different opinion. I think 4 wins could be had...Florida, Miss, miss st, and Mizzo
Not saying that A&M didn't have talent this past season, but next year they are losing key offensive pieces in Tannehill and Gray. I guess in Gray's case they still have Michael to run the ball with, but I don't know who they will use to replace Tannehill with. And if I'm not mistaken, they're losing quite a few seniors on the defensive side as well. The SEC is a strong defensive conference and with out their best offensive leaders on their roster, it's going to be hard for the Ags. I just think its all stacked against the Aggies, new conference, new coach, new places to play, while losing some key seniors is going to make this a difficult transition.
A losing season is virtually a lock; they might win 3 or 4, they might not win any. I didn't like this move from day one. Going into the SEC West is like athletic suicide. Sumlin is going to regret his move; should have stayed where he was.
I bet the Aggies are glad they escaped the miserable Big 12 and can now play high profile Thanksgiving weekend SEC opponents.
I'm hearing that either Alabama or Auburn will move and play in the SEC East.SEC West LSU Arkansas Mississippi Mississippi St. Texas A&M Missouri Alabama or Auburn SEC East Florida Georgia Tennessee Kentucky South Carolina Vanderbilt Alabama or Auburn
Sept 1: McNeese State (W) Sept. 8: FLORIDA (W) Sept. 15: at SMU Mustangs (W) Sept. 29: vs. Arkansas (L) Oct. 6: at Ole Miss (W) Oct. 20: LSU (L) Oct. 27: at Auburn (L) Nov. 3: at Mississippi State (W) Nov. 10: at Alabama (L) Nov. 24: MISSOURI (W) I'm seeing 6-4 with the new offense and that damn stud at RB.
First of all its hard to tell who is more butt hurt Ut fans or Baylor fans. Ok, the aggies will win five games next year (2 in conference and 3 out of congerence). The size and speed of the SEC is going to be too much for A&M next year. It will take the aggies 3 or 4 seasons to get comfortable in the SEC. Long term A&M made the right move. If Ut and A&M ever play each other in a bowl game that game will be heated.
