How come Hakeem ever got a tribute video?

    I understand Hakeem got his career plaque outside of the arena along with his jersey retired as well. However, I never saw a Hakeem tribute video upon his first return to Houston as a member of the Raptors.

    Yet here we are celebrating a really good role player who was here for roughly 4-5 years. Don't get me wrong, I love Landry to death but I just don't understand the rationale behind such decisions. Granted it was a meaningless thing but still, the Rockets owe Hakeem a tribute video!!!!

    Ummm, the Rockets did do a tribute video for Hakeem...when they retired his jersey. They also gave out posters and allowed him to speak at halftime. I was at the game

    Hakeem was many years ago, they do things differently (i'd say better) now. It was respectful, classy and the fans in the stands responded well.

    I think you guys are misreading the OP thread name. He's asking why hakeem EVER got a tribute video. He just wants to be enlightened on his amazing career and what he has to do to get a tribute video as well :p
