Does anyone know how I can listen to the Astros at work? They start at 2:30 and I don't get reception on my radio on the 3rd floor of this building. Is there anywhere online I can listen to or watch the game without paying?

    Thanks!

No way for free, but for 14.95 you can get all mlb games on the internet plus a year's subscription to SI. Go to Mlb.com

I think if you have an XM online account you can hear the games.

XM carries all the MLB games from what I remember.

tell your buddy Miguel or your wife Angela to turn on the radio really loud and set the cell phone next to the speaker. Just leave your phone on speaker and there you go.(it helps to bring your charger to work)

Are they on 740 or 610 now? I'm in the Dallas area so I'm not sure..

..but if you just google whichever station its on, find their webpage, and you can stream live radio.

I don't think they stream games, though.

The Astros are broadcast on 740 - and they don't stream the games.

Are there any blackout areas for the MLB.com streaming stuff?

When I was living in denTON in 2005, I got the playoffs audio pack from mlb.tv. It's really worth it. I wish I'd gotten the pack for the whole season; it beats checking the box score each day.

I got a Slingbox for the 2007 season. That's WAY better than the playoffs pack. In all seriousness, if you're going to use it, go for the Slingbox. You'll be able to actually WATCH the game from your office computer or cell phone. It's one heck of a great purchase.

And before you ask details, there are already two Slingbox threads. Just use the search tool.
