I just got IP banned at Operation Sports forum. That was new. Hilarious and new.

I basically was on there for the NBA2k13 board and was banned, then I used sharklasers.com to create like 50 alt accounts all calling their mod names and referencing his desire to lay with a man...

Anyways Ive been using the internet since 1998 and this is the first time for me. I just hope Clutch never IP bans me...that would suck...

So how does one go about getting another IP address?

Sign up for a VPN service and you'll be able to change your IP on the fly.

What's your username there? You must have done something stupid to get banned. I did get a lame infraction once for making fun of NBA Live (in comparision to 2K, when it was still a competition).

Use a VPN, if you have Comcast, turn off your modem for approximately two hours, you should get another I.P address.

Also, if you're on Comcast and have a spare router, changing routers will definitely get you a new IP address due to the MAC address changes.

When I go from a DD-WRT enabled router to a Dlink, my Comcast IP range changes from 50.xxx.xx.xx to 98.xxx.xx.xx

Yea totally, theyre basically on a power trip all the time. I didnt even do anything deserving a ban (the first time, my subsequent ALT accounts were made just for the cause)

I was MitchRichmondAbuser on the 2k13 MyTeam thread/section.

and yea I will use Tor Browser, I had actually known about it but forgot the name. I am feeling like Oprah today so REP FOR EVERYONE!

you can have mine, i don't need it any more.

just enter the following into your network config:

    192.168.1.101

    should work fine.
