    the ultimate c___-tease...

Astros, Rockets and Texans have all found ways to draw us in...and then choke...Im sure that throughout the history of Houston Pro Sports, there have been more choke jobs than clutch wins.

Im sad and drunk...6 to 2 at the top of the 8th...smdh

Mike Harris can get out of this city anytime he wants to. Just cost us what should have been an amazing day in Houston sports history.

This one was tough to take yes, but it's not over yet. And the Astros are a talented young team that wasn't even expected to make it this far.

I'm reminded of Howard Wolowitz describing his worst dates: "I was once robbed by a transexual I met on JDate and that didn't even crack the top 5."

The Oilers and Texans alone have provided enough heartache in my lifetime.

It sucks but the silver lining here is that the Astros are WAY ahead of schedule.

Astros won that series. A lot of people seem to forget that.

I know we did...but I was at that game. That was the worst feeling Ive had as a kid in college... If i was at today's game, it wouldve been just as bad.

My point is that...with the game on the line, and when the team needs something...our pro franchises have generated more heartache than happiness... That is such a disturbing trend. During the broad cast, they mentioned how the Astros have been 3-10 in elimination games...goodness.

The Rockets and Astros are set up to be competitive for a long time.

We really don't have room to complain

For a city this size, probably the worst sports city.

To make matters even worse, there's 2 other in-state cities that whoop our a**.

    Doesn't guarantee championships.

Why would you watch sports if you just want guaranteed anything? The entire entertainment value of sports comes from not having any guarantees.

An average franchise should win a championship every 30 years. The Rockets have done that. The Texans haven't been around that long. The Astros certainly have not, but that sport is also imbalanced - the Yankees have won something like 30% of the titles.

This one isn't even the Astros fault. I went to the bathroom in the middle of the game. The Royals rallied. My bad.

You conveniently left out the Oilers years here. I wonder why.

Talking about potential gets old when your teams have history of too much failure. As great as the Rockets championships were, they would've been better had Jordan never left. Baseball is lopsided, but the Stros haven't even won one ring. And, it's not necessarily always Houston ineptitude either. Our teams have gotten screwed by bad calls too. In the end, we lose.

And like I previously said, we have 2 other in-state cities that whoop our a** cchampionship-wise.

Introducing a city with 30+ championships is not a good argument.
