We had a 18 point 4th period lead the other night against the Timberwolves and they cut it 3 points late!

A lot of games I see he'll rest Yao and Tmac at the beginning of the 4th.

    5 stars thread!

we talked a lot over years about how we had the lead in the 4th quarter, but couldnot close it out and collapsed.

Proud of speaking ...Not This Year(overall).

    Go Rockets.

Yea, I feel good about any game now if it's close in the 4th quarter. We always seem to execute. Most of the games we've lost in the 4th is because the refs made a series of bad calls and take the wind out of us or some miracle shot/sequence. By and large, we execute and close out games. It's nice to see.

Biggest factor, TMac doesn't do 40ft J's with 3 minutes left. He did that ONE time a couple weeks ago ...and we lost.

I like getting Yao and Tmac rest in the 4th quarter. BUT, I've learned that this is the reason we often lost leads. So, I'm fine with Rick leaving them in late in the 4th. Rick knows what he's doing. (Though I would really like a backup C who can help us hold leads in the 4th to prevent Yao from having to play long minutes.)
