Asik had more quotes in that article than he had in all of the Internet last season.

Parson plays his role as captain well and it seems that he understands the difference of starting and not-starting.

Best case scenario for Asik is he plays out of his mind until we inevitably trade him. Love him as a player but the writing is on the wall

Asik realized that this team is good and we have a chance at going far this season.

Wrong direction of thinking imo..your'e describing DH's personality. Asik is not that type of guy, he seems to be more concerned with playing meaningful minutes on ANY NBA team

His answers to the questions were probably just "Um," "Yeah," "No," Shrug... And Feigan just filled in the rest.

Nah, he gives real answers when he talks. The problem seems to be getting him to talk in the first place.

    Omer Asik interview

I went looking for an Omer Asik interview and came upon this one. It was in Turkish but I watched it just to see his affect in conversation.

It was interesting. At the 25 sec mark, and again at the 1 min 30 sec mark, he breaks up in smiles and laughter. And his teammates seem to relate to him well, too. When at ease, in his own language, he seems like a really pleasant guy.

How can the writing be on the wall? What if we're having an incredible season: they'll just trade him anyway? What if Dwight gets hurt? No one knows what's going to happen.

interesting point for "mid-level" type players. What is more important?

    Stardom? or Ring?

If DH is hurt, more reason to trade. Tank city.

I never realized Brewer was on that historically good Bulls defense of a couple years ago.

If you think about it, the Rockets are taking a lot of what was extremely successful from contenders against the Heat and just swiping it. Oh, OKC? You have a Big Three with James Harden? Boom. Now he's ours. And now we have Jeremy Lin playing the James Harden role to perfection.

Oh, Chicago? You have top notch defense with Asik and Brewer? Bam. Ours.

Oh Orlando? You got to the Finals beating Lebron by leaning on a superstar at the only position he CAN'T defend? Bazinga. Dwightsanity in Houston baby.

Eat your hearts out Miami fans. We're comin' for ya.
