I’m enjoying the Conjuring universe, so I hope this is good the only real bullsh*t they’ve put out is that 1st Annabelle movie which was straight trash, but they made a huge improvement with the 2nd one
The commercials for these are over the top scary. They had one last night where the guy was in the coffin and the nun grabs him by the back of his head, it was f-ing terrifying, during a prime-time Astros game. I'm glad my kid wasn't watching.
The first Conjuring movie was one of the best horror films I've seen in a long time. I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie. I havent seen any of the other ones from the same universe though. I'm not really sure why, honestly.
I think think you'd need to see The Conjuring 2 which is where the primary demonic antagonist was introduced.....
been hearing that this movie is nothing special/disappointing I look on Rotten Tomatoes and it has a 26% critic score and 48% audience score I’m glad I didn’t spend $20 on some nunsense...I guess I’ll catch it on Redbox
read the story with spoilers and saw bits and pieces of the movie online. didn't seem like anything special. I thought this movie would explore the life of a nun who became evil and kicked out of the church and eventually burned at the stake and condemned to hell, before coming back to exact revenge on her killers. or something like that.
Never seen the conjuring movies. Wasn’t sure what the plot of the movie was. This abbey is haunted by some evil spirit that they got locked up and but got redisturbed because of world war 2 bombings. Then they shut the hole with Jesus juice. The end.
Saw it Saturday. Nothing special whatsoever. It really dragged. The best jump scare was in the previews.
I saw it last night, didn't think it was as bad as the reviews. some of the scares were predicable. Taissa Farmiga is always good always
