Yeah. He started out really well. After the first couple, he's gone horribly down hill.

i mentioned it in the movie thread. way too much dumb crap, but premise-wise, it could have been a great horror if it was in a non-awful writer/director's hands.

i somehow didn't see the twist coming, so that was enjoyable.

Chris Stuckmann gave it an A- and proclaimed that M. Night Shyamalan is back!
    Non spoiler review.

Just got out the theater and it's true. M Night is back! James McAvoy carried this movie with crazy performances. Guy was like a chameleon playing all different but believable characters .Worth checking out for sure.

Crazy twist/reveal that crowd led out cheers and applesauces.

Guys...telling us there is a major twist/reveal is a pretty significant spoiler, even without telling us what it is. Now we'll sit there looking for it the whole movie.

It was good...not great, but good. Good suspense. The "Oh it's M. Night so its going to be blah blah blah..." people are completely wrong...which I'm glad.

It was better than I thought it even could be. The main female lead will go on to do great things.

When I first saw the commercials on tv about this movie, I thought it was a comedy.

I really want to watch this movie but my wife is a little hesitant. Some one who has seen the movie can tell me in the a spoiler tag if this guy is dealing with anything demonic. That's where my wife draws the line on movies, she's just not comfortable with that subject matter. Don't want to spend money then walk out before it ends.
