Just saw this on Hoopsworld, wondered what your thoughts were on DeAndre Jordan playing in Houston.

Would he make us Contenders, Pretenders, Big improvement, little improvement or just the same?

I guess it's a possibility, but definitely not likely.

The scenario Bill Ingram made his case with is about as unlikely as it gets. Jordan will get a good offer from some team. Raptors, Kings, T-Wolves, Rockets, Clippers, whoever.
Personally I don't see the Clippers messing this one up and from everything I've read or heard it seems like DeAndre wants to stay in L.A.

He would certainly help the Rockets. I just don't see it happening.

I thought posting hoopsworld stories was banned. If not, it might be a good time to start.

Yeah it's banned. If there actually is a season going on this would've been locked already. But I guess leniency since there's nothing else going on.

Why would it be banned/locked? The guy had an interview with him and wrote an article about it.:confused:

The site I remember being banned was Bleacher Report.

I'd love it! To get DeAndre Jordan would be an improvement, but as we know it's just wishful thinking cause the Clippers will likely match any offer.

Jordan would make the Rockets a playoff team. He's clearly better than Thabeet or Hill, though that's not saying much. And return Hayes to his backup pf role.

Sorry Chuck Hayes fans, but we're not going to win games with a 6'6" center. Get a decent big man; Jordan would be ideal.

DeAndre Jordan. Restricted FA. Only a sign-and-trade would get it done, if such a thing exists under the new CBA. And who would we give up that they'd want?

He doesn't even make the Clippers, a playoff team. The Clippers depend more on Blake Griffin than DeAndre Jordan. Why would he make the Rockets a playoff contender?

He is seriously being overrated, when "championship contenders" is a poll option. Rockets were a lottery team, last year, and Deandre Jordan isn't going to turn us into the Lakers/Spurs/Heat/Celtics. They will all just laugh at us.
