    1. i thought we weren't suppose to hang on those rims :D
    2. Lowry needs to dunk it more on his drives and fast breaks...
    3. i'm not sure why he's such a poor 3 pt shooter, but you can pretty much tell if he's gonna make it or not by the way he sets for the shot....hopefully he gets it down

I don't understand why alot of players in the league dont try using soccer as part of their off season regimen it helps build cardio and helps with footwork the take Hakeem and Steve Nash for example both of them had soccer backgrounds and it helped both of them excel at their position (except for steve i'm not sure if he knows what defense is)

Theres a lot more players than that.

Try Dirk, KG, Manu Ginobili, and Kobe.

I agree about footwork, but the cardio is different for basketball and soccer

True but you would think soccer would have the edge, considering they usually stay on a much larger playing field and needing to use your vision on the opposing defender, the ball AND possible open teammates might help some player's have better court vision to find the open man.

True, but i meant that for basketball there's more stop n go movement, more constant sprinting and in a straight line a lot of the time, where with soccer you're kind of roaming around more so you'd train for different goals when it came to cardio.

Met Stuart Holden today, I asked him how was playing Kyle Lowry. He said he had a blast. Also told him he had a great goal the other night. :D

I play soccer in my highschool and basketball often with my friends, very different cardio. You vision does improve however because in soccer you constantly have to know where your teammates are and where you can find an open space to get the ball.

I also have a friend who has played soccer all his life and has every good footwork when he plays basketball. He's 6'3 and could be playing basketball instead but chose to play soccer.

I've also heard volleyball helps your vertical. Michael Jordan and I believe Kobe Bryant played volleyball.

Trust me when i tell you this Soccer is the ultimate sport... basketball is my fav. sport but my family (being from Trinidad) loves soccer my dad was on the National Team before i came about and he blew out both of his knees and my God Father (who i have only seen once in my life) moved to England and played soccer there for many years and was quite popular there.

The average soccer player runs 4-5 miles per game
