    Don't know if it's still around, but I used to go to the one in Bellaire and Belle Park. The brehs there are pretty honest, but could be a little slow.

    My dad's been taking the family vehicles to Pepboys on Highway 6 at 529 for years, and they've always been honest and haven't ever done us wrong. They'll typically inspect a vehicle and give you a quote that includes more than what actually needs to be fixed, so it may seem expensive, but if you have some inclination as to what's wrong, you can just have them fix that. Example: Girlfriend's driver-side front strut had completely gone out. They recommended the two front struts be replaced, and the rear shocks replaced. While they were correct that they should all be replaced at once, we only had the front done, and it ended up being reasonably priced. Good folks at that Pepboys.
