The difference, of course, is that modern Christians and Jews are not still going on with prophecy about the fall of Babylon....which is what you were quoting, because it already happened. Another big difference is that the prophecy was about what a 3rd party (Medes or Persia) was going to do, not instructions for their followers. I'm sure you knew that though.
To be fair, many of the violent verses in the Quran can be justified with the same argument as many of them are just recollections of battles.

which narrative is going to be used ! anti-Muhammed or from Quran, if its from Quran then there is not much materials or personalization of him in Quran, if the narrative is driven from hadith, then muslims are having similar issues with hadith authentication like Christianity , it was collected 2 centuries after his death, subjected to all personal/political/sectarian influences and agendas ,every sector of muslims have their own trusted hadiths last but not least, will he be misrepresented by a blue eyes actor like in Jesus case! and yea mainstream muslims aren't flattered to play Moses/Jesus in films ,they means much more than box office hit. btw , I haven't watched any movie that represents religious figures ,it's either glorified or distorted and far from the true reflection
