Ok weird... I cannot open ESPN on my netscape for some reason..... But..... I was looking on the Astros ESPN board and they noted some larger fantasy site is saying that Hirsh would be starting Saturday..... Going to restart comp and see if I can get the link.... Lets hope this is true.
Here's what it says in his player page in cbs sportsline: http://sportsline.com/mlb/players/playerpage/580585 The Astros' No. 5 starter's spot comes back up Saturday, Aug. 12, and there have been strong indications phenom Jason Hirsh could be the man for that spot. Also, Fernando Nieve is back up with the Astros in relief, but there is talk his starting days are over. He could be groomed as a late-inning reliever now, perhaps a future closer, according to MLB.com. So it looks like speculation at this point.
Of course it's speculation. When it's announced, it won't be on a fantasy site via an espn message board. Right now, the options look to be Sampson, Hirsh or Borkowski.
Don't think it will be Hirsh. He is scheduled to start tomorrow and that would give him only 3 days of rest for Saturday start. He could just pitch a couple innings out the pen today or tomorrow and be ready for the Saturday start but I doubt they do. Likely Sampson or Borkowski will start.
