Is this the wingnut that made that Obama movie? He seems to have found his niche. Release a wingnut fantasy of whoever the Dems are running for President right before the election. Yay capitalism.

The 8 screen movie theater here in Marble Falls just started showing this...but Dinesh D'Souza? What is Oliver Stone (or Moore) working on these days?

Moore just did some flick about "who to invade next," that was actually just a rundown of superior benefits and infrastructure in specific industrialized countries. Nice go-to for in-demand, but tonally it felt like an hour version of his joke about the "COPS" show that would arrest corporate criminals.

 

A lot of hot topic movies consist of a lot of ratings from people who haven't seen the movie. They just have strong opinions on the subjects. Some of the ratings say as much.

I'm not saying it's actually bad. Just that this isn't uncommon. Very many Ghost Buster's user ratings were from people who had no intention to see the movie.

 

I have not seen any refutation (from a factual standpoint) of this documentary so far from any of its critics. Any poor person, especially from the minority sectors, should be outraged, or at least concerned.

As explored in the documentary, the Democratic Party continued to subjugate minorities by keeping the bulk of them poor while elevating a few (like Al Sharpton. I always wondered why KKK members like Sen. Robert Byrd made remarkable "conversions" from their previous beliefs. While that was a significant step in the right direction -- if actually true -- one has to wonder.

Even under a black president, minorities have become poorer and less educated. Of course, that is true for the populace as a whole, with the exception of the very rich and their politicians. Look at the Clintons. One has to wonder how, on public servant salaries, they have gone from "poor" to amassing $300M in personal wealth and billions in the foundation that gives them everything from private jets to $2000 lunches.

It's no wonder Democrats don't like this documentary.

I think most Democrats don't bother to watch right-wing propaganda. This guy lost credibility when he went after Obama as a Kenyan.

Why should people watch an hour of lies and garbage?

By the way, I have worked with the Clinton Foundation - they do tremendous good in the world. The Clintons do not draw a salary or money from the foundation. It has over 2,000 employees on its payroll as it does much of the charity work itself instead of giving grants. And the range of the portion of its funds that go to program services range from 80-90%.

So this whole thing is a joke. When you have to attack something based on conjecture versus actually using available numbers - why should people have to listen to this b.s. propaganda.

There's plenty to criticize the Clintons about. Problem is that it doesn't make for something that riles up fools like yourself.

 

Neither you or JeffB -- or anyone else -- has offered a factual refutation of the movie or of the book "Clinton Cash." What has been proven time and again is that Hillary Clinton lies well into the world of delusion. I fear a highly delusional presidency of Clinton far more than I fear a conceited ass presidency of Trump.

Ms. Clinton is at least tempered by her team of experienced political operatives.

You don't have to look any further than the execution of the conventions to see the hand of professionals versus the hand of dilettantes.

Oh, yes ... in the Washington political elite we trust.

 

Parliamentary procedure, legislative process, networked working relationships, law, diplomatic processes and relationships, bureaucratic administration ....
you'd best have people who know what they are doing.

Even if you elect Trump, maybe 10-15 people would change, the other 10,000 people that really are the working government wouldn't.

 

This thread isn't about Clinton Cash. I haven't read it but I am already familiar with many of the allegations and issues it raises which are nothing new.

It does expose already known conflicts of interest - such as Bill Clinton getting paid for speeches while his wife of Secretary of State. But many of its assertions have been shown to be false.

Basically, there isn't one factually instance of corruption exposed by the book, just potential conflicts of interest.

 

Better than trusting RWNJ liars, as you seem to.
