Who goes around, sees people who are excited and hopeful about something, then goes out of his way trying to squash their hope and drain their excitement?
I'm willing to wait and see. Sure, some of the other names considered sounded appealing, but you never really know until they get on the court. As much as I loved Van Gundy, his Rockets teams never won in the playoffs and featured some of the most unwatchable offense in history. Whatever you think of the Lakers debacle, D'Antoni had real success in Phoenix with a team that was mediocre before he got there. We should give him a chance before we crucify him.
