He's already playing at his best, it's just that his best has declined heavily since last season.

You should be writing this letter to Morey, not CP3.

Actually, that IS a decline issue. You start questioning yourself because you can't physically do what you used to do. You lose confidence.

Not even mad at this. We knew what we were getting ouselves into.

This is what we were going to get when you sign him for Super Max money at his age.

Well, pray that he has a good game.

On a #$%^%$ CENTER! If you're a PG who can't drive on an opposing center...what are you?

Yes, he's really more of a normal forward, but same point would apply.

He never was a deep playoff performer, last year was his first time out of the 2nd round.

if there was a game for him to show up it was this one. he's done as a high scoring pg.
he's still an elite playmaker. maybe they banked on him having one last good year than utilize his playmaking more?
3 years left. he can still be a top pg next year. after that could be a bad year overall. then a huge expiring. thats worst case.
i think he can stay as a top pg for another two years. 3rd year 50/50.

they should still try to use him as a pg more and everyone move off ball. with mda, and paul's potential decline, they should've been prepared for this.

Do you even watch basketball bro? CP3 and elite playmaker should never be in the same sentence.

This is telling. No way he can be so ineffective on offense. He may be fixing the game for us. Unbelievable. I hate it when Looney beats us. With Durant injured even if we beat these Packers, there will be an asterisk attached to us.

Everyday that passes the 40 million per year we are paying this guy feels like an exit scam.

Chris Paul speed, his one dangerous skill is gone. His speed attacking the basket, the defender used to be behind him. Easy Fast break layups. Quicker crossover moves.

Now Chris when he attacks the basket, the defender is connected at his hip. It's like he is shocked, when somebody is ready to block him underneath the basket, it used to be no one underneath the basket, because he outran his defender. It's like he is in slow motion. Even on defense he looks terrible laterally.

Stealing and Rebounding he looks fine.

Yep, exactly. Even when he has the bigs on him, he makes his move and it stalls out. The guys hip is right into him, and he can’t get around. He’s still got great court vision, but his speed is gone so he can’t move around the court like he used to. He’s becoming a shell of himself.

I do not know if Clint Capela virus has made him weaker, or he is just Low IQ vs the Warriors.

Last year no doubt Clint Capela played badly vs the Warriors.

    PG Kemba Walker
    SG James Harden
    SF Jimmy Butler
    PF P.J Tucker
    C Anthony Davis
    SG Eric Gordon

I wish the Rockets trade Chris Paul and Clint Capela

When they trade Chris Paul, the Referee hatred will be gone with him.

Clint Capela Low Offensive Skills, Low IQ in the playoffs will be gone

Nobody should be surprised. I don't expect much from CP3 at this point but I wish he would at least make smarter decisions.

Confidence is an additional issue. If anyone should be able to deal with a confidence issue, it's a 35 year old. He can still hit mid range shots if he's open, even if he's 40. He's compounding the issue mentally.

Great point, he passed up countless opportunities last night. He also dribbled late into the shot clock and never really got into sets, just overall bad.
