Problem: I have noticed recently that the power window on my driver side is not working in hot weather, all other windows work fine. For most of the summer, the window hasnt been working. When I try to roll down, I can hear an intermittent "clicking" sound, which sounds like its trying to work, but the window does not go down.

But recently, when the weather has cooled off this weak, the power window miraculously started working again, until this lunch hour.

Based on this, I don't think the motor has gone out as when it started working again this week, it worked fine. And when its not working, it sounds like it is trying to, but the window is just stuck.

Can anyone provide a lil help or tips on what I can do to fix this?

    Thanks

older tint probably sticking. Try cleaning the tops of the windows and the area where it closes on at the top (when it cools down and works)

Yea, somethings just melting... You can take your door apart and check, should be fairly easy, not more than 5-10 screws.

5 screws and like 15 pins probably. Melted tint is strong enough to hold down a window? It's a motorized jack against sticky film.

i had a problem like that, but it affected more than the power window...also worked during cool weather and didnt work when it was hot. Turned out to be a bad door module, i think it was called, basically the part that has all the switches for the door/window.
