Totally agree. Ive always said that if Memphis ever got some 3 point shooting, they'd be equivalent to the Spurs good. They slash, their bigs can pass and most of all they play hard nosed defense. Front court was never the problem but damn if they didnt get tougher with Wright signing.
A bit of a logjam with Splitter thrown into the equation, they should've used the money dedicated to him for a perimeter scorer (unless they plan on making a trade).
Well Atlanta loses Carroll, retains Milsap and adds Splitter. They're going to be tougher in the paint anyway. That's an extremely quality big rotation.
In the article it mentions that Millsap can opted out in 17-18 when his max pay will be in the 34- 37 range. Amazing. Long way away from 8 he was paid last year.
