Never underestimate the heart of the champion Does apply to the champion Because we were the defending champions
That was a certain fella named Hakeem who hardly took any plays off, let alone games. Other than that, yeah I say fark it, let's do it as a low seed.
Recall a JVG season where we started below .500 for awhile. Help is coming. East. or if a Westie jumps in. Patience. This team will be fine.
I was a little worried about you, homebooooooy. Welcome back. Of course, when is that help coming, one can’t help but wonder. It needs to be pretty soon. The body only has so much blood.
Lots of names/ combos/ teams being thrown around....Shhhh though! (And I stand by all the targets I've mentioned. Depth is in play.) Even "Hey Wilson" No promises though...I'm just the third ear of Mav Carter 1. Depth 2. Chess Love ya buddy. Thanks for checking on me. The treatment bills have been hard on me, despite making good money. Healthcare in this country is awful. I spent 15 gs in the last month to stay alive (Alexa: Play Beegees or the Fugees remix "Stayin' Alive") Lol Life is hard, but it's all we have. XO to clutchfans. The season is 82 games. Don't worry.
I’ve never met you in person, although I’d like to think one day it could happen. I’m sorry for what you’re going through; it’s been a long haul for you, and yet the bull$h!t continues. Keep fighting the fight. My dad has some heart issues. Not that he’s about to cash in his chips. But it’s a reminder that life can’t be taken for granted. So, why don’t YOU keep bequeathing us your presence, bro, and keep on keepin’ on? Peace.
Let me remind people what Clutch City is Clutch City is pure @Os Trigonum PS , I know this the first time some of you have ever seen defensive highlights in your entire life
The better comparison is to the 1996-97 Rockets when they traded for Barkley. They traded away two key players in Horry and Cassell in order to assemble a superteam to beat the Sonics. And it worked. They started the season 21-2, finished 57-25(and would've easily won more had they been healthy), and finally overcame Seattle. The problem was trading away all that depth left them vulnerable against the Utah Jazz and they fell in 6 in the Western Conference Finals. The following season, injuries, age, and chemistry issues all caught up with them. They had an awful regular season where they went .500 and they fell in a hard fought first round series against Utah. Fast forward to the 2017-18 season. The Rockets trade away a ton of depth for CP3 in order to assemble a superteam to beat the Warriors. And it nearly worked. They started the season 27-4, finished 65-17(and could've won even more had they been healthy), coasted to the Western Conference Finals, and were up 3-2 on Golden State when Paul injured his hammy. All that depth they traded away(coupled with Luc's injury) left them vulnerable against the Warriors and they were forced to give Ryno and Joe Johnson key minutes in Game 7 where they fell to Golden State. This season, injuries, age, and (possibly) chemistry issues have all caught up with them. Currently they're 11-14 and look like a .500 team at best. Look, I hate to say it, but maybe this team's window really was one season. I thought they could at least compete this year for a title, but apparently even that was being too generous. Just like the Rockets in '97 that came up short, so did this group. The key now is to not drag this out for years before admitting to ourselves that the roster needs to be rebuilt. Rudy and CD denied reality and wound up with 6 years of 2 first round exits and 4 trips to the lottery. Morey and Tillman would be wise to not go down that same road. Especially with a far less patient fanbase and serious competition from the Astros and Texans(remember, there was no NFL during nearly all of that 1997-2003 stretch).
lol thank for your positive attitude my guy but this team is miserable. They'll be lucky to get an 8th seed. You can quote me say a change happens but as of now *shrug*
do you mean WIlson Chandler by "Hey Wilson"? he looks washed to me thanks for your insight by the way, that's the reason I've joined Clutchfans
