Has a fanbase ever hated their team as much as we do?

Has a franchise ever let their fanbase down as much as the Rockets did?

This may sound biased, but I'll always love Bill, Clyde, and Matt. Beverly's cool, but I don't care about the rest on that list.

 

Nope. This team has almost made me hate basketball. Torturous season can't end soon enough.

 

I didn't really like the Steve Francis years...or the later year Drayton McLane Astros...or the current Texans...

But this is a whole different level.

 

The odd thing is I saw this stuff coming but it was hard to explain that things arent right when we were winning last year. At the time asking for a new coach to instill discipline and institute an actual system to this team probably sounded like pure unreasonable hatred toward Mchale for no reason. But it just seemed inevitable that Harden would not always be able to carry us and create everything and that our system and players needed to be better it was just a matter of time.

 

Worrell voted for Ariza as Player of the year and got called out in the National media. LOL. "Ariza better than DeAndre, Gobert, Whiteside....?????"

I wonder if Drexler will have a MVP vote. Knowing Worrell and Drex, they will vote for Harden as MVP again.

 

I read this apt description on another forum by a non-Rockets fan:

Can anyone name a team that's more hated by their fan base?

We voted that Rockets would have 0% chances against the Warriors.

 

Despite popular belief my screen name is sarcasm, lol. So I agree didn't like those years but he were trying and weren't expected to do well. If you are a young entertaining team I can take that but this is insane.

 

We still made the playoffs....

Sacramento for sure. Brooklyn was up there not too long ago, but after the recent hires they're a lot more happy. Sixers fans were actually completely fine with "the process"... maybe blind to it, but they weren't sad or disappointed. I think maybe now they are though since a majority of them were loyal to the process.

I think Sacramento Kings fans hate their team more than Rockets fans do. Knicks fans might be up there too, but then again a lot of those guys are delusional and still believe Carmelo is a top tier player lol.

If Washington hires Scott Brooks I can see Wizards fans going mad. Oh, man. Bulls fans. The **** storm they have going in Chicago right now. It's terrible. Jimmy Butler is such a polarizing player in Chicago right now.
