You are depending on him to be a back up. Not a starter. We have Capella.

Call me crazy - but couldn’t we run with capela and Hartenstein together for a few stretches each game?

we’d control the boards and interior rim defense - and wed set good picks on offense - the roll/lob Options good? No?

So you are just going to ignore the fact that the average NBA player is faster and stronger? Also Isiah hasn't played this many minutes in how many weeks? He gets sporadically called up between Gleague and NBA bench warmer for the past year or so. He doesn't get consistent time. The thing about conditioning is you lose it if you don't consistently go at it. Hence why even superstars need a couple games returning from a couple week injury to get their conditioning back up.

He is fine as a 3rd center on a contending team. His lack of defense is worrisome on a team like the Rockets but his rebounds and hustle keep him employed.

I thought his defense was fine the first three quarters. He held his position, boxed out we and got some nice blocks and contested lay.ups that led to misses.

Not a good idea. You are severely limited offensively with both players on the floor. Hartenstein’s biggest contribution is on the boards so having him with Capela is duplicative in that regard.

9th player on a bad team and that's it. Easily replaced, not worth fussing about him at any level.

Defensively he isn’t very good. He can be a spark in limited minutes defensively at times because of his hustle. However he has some physical limitations that can be hard to hide.

If average NBA player is so much faster and stronger (more BS - Lost Boys were playing just as fast and as strong for 3 quarters) then maybe zero players playing in leagues outside of NBA are capable of making the transition to NBA.

Sabonis, Rubio, Elie, Tucker, Whiteside, Covington, House, Trier, etc. all say BS.

Ditto, it would be a different look offensively and defensively. Got to be able to show different looks to go deep in the playoffs this year.

You always ignore the major arguments I make.

Hartenstein hasn't played a full basketball game with starter minutes for weeks. Conditioning is something you have to maintain hence why star players even need a couple of games to regain their conditioning to not get burned out by starter minutes after missing a few weeks.

Hartenstein isn't even going to play starter minutes when the full squad is back. He's fine as the back up center to Capella playing 15-20 minutes per game.

Then step up when the opportunity presents itself. You have given this 3rd stringer every excuse in the book but you and your ilk persecute James Harden because he is not playing lock down defense while also providing historical scoring.

    Hypocrite much?

I've been saying that all year. Yes, I'd prefer that over Clint and House.

You really hardly ever read any of my arguments. You have this imaginary strawman of my arguments in your head and that is what you reply to. You don't reply to my posts. You reply to a contrived strawman of my posts.

He is good, I think MDA must give him some time to play next game
