I'm thinking HP is better. The Order of The Phoenix is the Empire Strikes Back of the '00s. Star Wars in terms of impact trumps them all imo. Narnia was great but it ultimately doesn't compete. Potter is better than The Lord of the Rings even though it relies heavily on it's predecessors,

If you vote, you are a nerd of course.

I'm confused. Are you talking books or movies? Eh, either way, I'll go with LOTR.

I'm talking about the whole. HP is newer but that's why it's not getting the credit it deserves. I think it's slightly better than Rings.

I really couldn't relate to any of the three movies you listed. I liked Napoleon Dynamite though.

Potter for me. It not only draws u in, but u grow up with the kid.

LOTR was a whole nother universe which is cool and all, but it got really F'n annoying when everytime someone questioned Strider aka "the King" legolas would jump in with his rehearsed

    Aragorn
    son of arathorn
heir to islidur's bane or some crap.

Plus, I'd rather say I'm a geek and like harry potter than be accused of someone who might LARP

    Lightning bolt lightning bolt FreeZE!

voting in this thread isn't a nerd. a nerd is someone who downloads .pdf files of an unreleased fantasy story and reads them on their computer. sorry guys. :) it's only like a couple days anyways isn't it?

i've never read any of the harry potter books and have only seen the first two movies but i love all of the lord of the rings stuff.
