An interesting take from someone who can identify w/ Royce White w/r/t anxiety disorder. Royce's continued advocacy for those w/ mental illness is laudable for sure. I can see a 2nd career for him already (maybe 3rd since he's clearly into music - though it could be said he has questionable taste).

Royce has been getting a ton of publicity ever since that Grantland video. It's sick to be honest. Very happy for him he really seems to just get it to be honest. I loved listening to him & D-mo on the radio the other day. Royce really stands out to me.

How dare you question Royce's taste in music.

I completely agree with the author. As a fellow sufferer of mental illness, it is truly inspiring for a professional athlete to put his condition in the forefront, especially at the beginning of his career. I can't imagine having the guts to do that. With or without this aspect of Royce, he would still be my favorite rookie bc of the kind of man he is. the first post introductory press conference interview with Fiegen really showed me how interesting Royce is. im pumped for the season. Red Nation!!
