Right on. James is playing and practicing with a deeply experienced master of the art of defense. The impact on Harden has been obvious, in my opinion, and not just on the defensive end. James may have taken the step regardless, but it's like having Chris Paul as a teammate opened a door to the next level. Harden is playing like a madman. Morey is a genius.

Harden has never been incapable of playing decent to good defense on most players. He doesn't have the lateral speed and quickness to keep up with elite guards, but neither does most the league. His issue has always been that he simply stops paying attention, or lets his guy go past so he can try and poke it out.

It's all about him having the focus and energy to try.

Harden was caught in a social media hate fest with his defense. He wasent nearly as bad as even half the league but he’s a star so he was targeted.

He seemed to always be pretty good just really lazy.

 

I have noticed his turnovers been down also and good to see my eyes was right. Also he has stopped throwing those throw ahead passes that results in 50/50 turnovers

 

right and hes rarely ever now being picked ball from behind
