So, he rolled it in Game 3 ..That explains the end of that game, and the last 40 minutes.

Needless to say, I hope he's right, or close to it for the next round.

We'll close these guys out and give him some rest while the Spurs and Grizz go 7.

He turned it I believe at the end were he was going around that Nene pick and Roberson tripped him but the refs didn't call anything and forced harden to call timeout.

If you rewatch it you can see him step on Robersons foot and turn his ankle.

James is a tough guy I expect him to be just fine by the start of next series.

It's 7 days away from today.

Plenty of time to get over a tweaked ankle for an athlete like harden.

I read people talking about this after Game 4. But when did we first know about this. How was it reported? Can someone explain? Was it a post-game presser after Game 3, or Feigen reporting prior to Game 4.

He mentioned it at the end of the game ESPN interview with Lisa Salters, something to the effect...

I rolled my ankle but I am not going to make excuses...

I didn't think of ankle .. I WAS however worried when Roberson hip checked him into the scorers table . It looked like a hard collision and you could hear the smack and James was slow to get back up

Mad props to the Beard playing through this. It's obvious from the tape and the way he's moving/playing....he's hurting big time. ..definitely needs a week off.

Doesnt look like it has healed.

I see him protecting it a little at the end of his drives.

There is a obvious difference in his movement when compared to the first 2 games.

It is imperative we win this game so he can rest the ankle for the next series.

Shooting better than 5/27 from 3 would help ...

Why haven't the Rockets adjusted accordingly? They know he's hurt. With all due respect, you don't just stubbornly sit and do nothing while a handicapped Beard kills us.

Gutsy performance ...stepped it up down the stretch/crunch time....We would have blown them out if he was healthy.

Hell, we probably would have swept them if he hadn't have gotten hurt.

I just hope he can come out next series and be the distributor he was in the regular season .

His assists have gone down the toilet and sure some of that is due to our shooters sucking , but a lot of it is the defense adjusting .

6 days of rest badly needed. It's huge that we closed it out tonight.

The no Call thing bugs me most of all
A play that could have literally cost us the series is a no call

Defense adjusted. They took it away, assumed we couldn't manufacture offense without him. Lou taught them otherwise.
