So he's capable of this but just doesn't want to all the time?

Yeah, way to earn my respect.

He was still awful on defense. His triple double means nothing

    Just like 36/26 meant nothing.

The guy had 17 rebounds and 14 assist and somehow you find a way to make that a negative?

He wasnt awful. He had about two glaring mistakes and the rest of the night he was solid in my opinion (however remember I am comparing him to the rest of the team)

That's why he went to the strip club right after the Clippers game, he needed help getting it up and keeping it up.

We are playing like a video game team. Sure the stats look nice but they're meaningless when you realize that the other team had even better numbers because we played zero defense. All the positive stats from tonight were empty.

Indeed, people celebrating a game where our 'star' has some nice stats, talk about trading Ariza and somehow forget we don't play defense, lost the game and Ariza has to cover two people because Harden won't cover anyone.

Howard: I dont care about my stats, play basketball and win. Trying to send a message.

Harden: ballhogged to get those stats, Harden is back guys. Shoved the whole team to the side like on nba2k.

    We needed defense....

Ty was running the offense perfectly... I'm glad he achieved his personal stats... Happy for him.. But sometimes you have to give up the personal stats for a win...

Also, a lot of those rebounds came from Drummond misses on the free throw line.

I prefer to see 6 guys in double figures instead of one guy with a triple double..

Hmm.. Then that would sound like the spurs...

The team was better with Harden on the bench... Harden = King of Empty stats.

Harden and the Rockets are reminding me of Melo and the Knicks.

Individual play is secondary to team play.

    food for thoughts

Incredible stats when losing only matters when you do not care about winning

But Howard's contribution to the game gave the Rockets a better chance to win than Harden's.

Well said. A real leader would do that. But moving his feet and defending players won't get him any stats :( Harden is all about me me me and my stats.
