If Harden stays consistent and have some good games, he has a good shot.

    In before Media Conspira......well ****.

Also, the 4 ****-for-brains that voted Harden 4th need to be taken in front of a tribunal and made to answer for their sins.

Never understood why media personnel get to vote for the MVP. This should be solely determined by head coaches.

Did theses voters not take into account that Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team is currently on pace to average a triple double in points, rebounds, and assists for the entire 82 game NBA season, something that hasn't been accomplished since the 1961-1962 NBA season of one Oscar Robertson? What fools!

    3 things....

    1) I won't be deceived

    2) There is no argument for Lebron James getting 1st place votes

    3) Whoever the 4 were that put Harden 4 is a moron. You either value the team success of Lebron and Kawhi over Harden, putting Harden at 3rd, or you value the stats of Westbrook over Harden, putting Harden at 2nd. Can't make an argument going against Harden in both of those directions. Basically, unless you vote Westbrook 1st and Harden 2nd because you care entirely about stats, then Westbrook better be behind Harden on any poll.

Haha, also sarcasm aside... This is PERFECT!! hopefully the voters recall Bill Russell got the MVP that season and not Oscar, but unfortunately they probably can only remember back to 1990...

On a serious note, I think MVP voting is a joke. They change the narrative every season, "needs to be a top team" / "amazing stats, must equal MVP" blah blah. Hopefully Harden doesn't get robbed.

We had the Trump elections win after Hillary was leading all pre-election polls so I won't believe any pre-polling numbers anymore...

Let the final results come out.

the people giving Lebron 1st place votes are doing so because of the "he's the best player in the NBA" narrative...it's the BS that guys like Max Kellerman constantly spew

Precisely. Half of these voters are operating under the mindset of "There's no way he averages a triple double. No possible way."

When he does, there will be a lot of "I gave him no shot to do this all year, but my God...he really averaged a triple double the entire season. I'm sorry, but I just gotta give it to him."

    Stay woke

The voters put Kobe who played for the NBA's golden franchise and averaged 35 ppg while having an 81 point game, a game where he scored 62 in 3 quarters, and multiple other 50+ point games 4th in the MVP race. He dragged a team that had even less help than Westbrook's into the playoffs. They rewarded Nash for winning, they will do the same for Harden. Everyone should already know by now that Westbrook will average a triple double. I read recently that he has a 90% chance of doing it.

What's funny is that LeBron doesn't even win this argument anymore. Both the Rox and Cavs have similar records and will more than likely end up within one or two wins of one another. Media can use their Love card all they want for LeBron but James can use the "I don't have a Kyrie" card. Some of the media seems like they are looking for every possible excuse to discredit the success of James. The whole triple double bullshit is idiotic. Russ has not elevated the Thunder to contender status and it's not like that team does not have any talent.
