People forget one thing about LebRon. Once Thompson and their new acquisition IT get quality minutes again then LeBron's #s will start to go down.

LeBron can sustain these #s throughout the season if he wanted to but he has always deferred for the wins and post season chances. If Harden has close to 30ppg and 10apg and wins a division then I believe Harden will take it this year.

As expected Giannis has fallen out of the top MVP spots right now and rightfully so this year. But we are now seeing the two-headed media MVP monster rounding form like last year (Westbrook/Harden) and before that (Curry/Harden). Common theme is Harden as he keeps getting better.

I would not get mad if Lebron won it because he has been MVP of the league pretty much every year for the last 10 years. His numbers should go down much because he is not take many shots. He is shooting 58 percent from the field and over 40 percent from 3's. His efficiency has been sick this year with a true shooting percentage of 66 percent. That is a crazy number especially considering the attention he gets. He could average 40 points a game if he were even half as selfish as Kobe was.

“Should go to the best stats.”
    “That’s Harden sir.”
“Alright well can’t have an MVP from a low seed. Find the best player on the #1 seed and give it to him.”
    “Again...Harden sir.”
“Alright, well last year that fellow from OKC had to record a triple double average to get MVP right?”
    “We’ll sort of. But yeah.”
“Well from now on the MVP will only be given to someone who averages a triple double. If no one does then there’s no MVP and the top 5 get participation trophies.”
    “Ok...”
“Just make sure Harden doesn’t get one.”

Harden has a chance to really develop an all time great legacy this season.

Going head to head against Lebron for the MVP with potential to take out GSW and Cleveland in the playoffs.

What a narrative that could push Harden in the top 20 players of all time conversation. I think it would have to rival him with Dwayne Wade for second best sg of all time.

Just saw Kellerman try to say that he has Kawhi over Harden. Kawhi hasn't even played! What the actual hell?

Also, yes, now they say LeBron doesn't have any help but Harden has Paul. Also, Curry still deserves it over Harden because?...

    This is beyond ridiculous.

It's not an exaggeration to say Max Kellerman is the biggest Harden hater in media, hell he might even outdo Michelle Beadle

Nice post, but the best SG of all time is Michael Jordan. Kobe is the second best,

Kellerman is not only a Harden hater but an egregious LeBron stan. No doubt in my mind he'll argue for Lebron.

I feel like Houston has a decent chance of ending up with the best record in the league honestly, so that angle might be Harden's as well. And stats wise, Harden is leading in so many stats from RPM, WS, etc. Only marginally behind Giannis and Lebron in PER. If he loses out on MVP again this year...

I think he surpasses Wade if he can beat Golden State in the WCF and beat Cleveland in the finals and ends up winning at least one more ring (regardless of difficulty) before his career ends.
