Just read it on Feigen‘s Twitter. Bruised left calf. I remember when it happened against Portland the other day
Yeah, but probable usually means the guy is gonna play. Plus we're talking Harden and he simply doesn't miss games unless he's suspended.
Sit him and let EG start. We need to slip an EG a start somewhere in this homenstand to help him get his mojo back before he falls completely off the cliff cuz he has not looked for a few weeks now.
Harden is a machine, but it prob would be better to rest him if it’s bothering him. We should be able to win with CP3/Gordon too. But he’s most likely going to play tho, you’re right. Hargod won’t sit with that
I think he learned his lesson from last year's playoffs and seeing Lebron & Kawhi rest around 10 games last year and Steph & KD a couple of games barely a quarter of this season in
He also had to play more minutes and shoulder a much bigger load last season. That more than the number of games played is what wore him down. Right now, I don't think he takes games off even with a sore calf. If the Rockets put enough distance between themselves and the Warriors and Spurs, I could see him(and CP3) resting later in the year.
I hope he plays, then again if Harden is going to have one of those 3/17 FG kind of a game because something is bothering him, it's just not worth it. Remember how Harden played poorly when he hurt his wrist towards the end of last year's regular season.
he may have had a heavier load to carry last season but the work and effort he's been putting in is probably as much given he's leading the MVP ladder, rockets #1 seed, & biggest point differential and last season's pipe dream was the WCFs but this year it's the finals so he needs to recover and not risk any small injury to worsen and rest every opportunity he has time to trust Cp3 for at least 1 game against a NOLA team without AD Morey & MDA needs to realze they need a 4th guard they can trust with 10 minutes a game and more if Harden or Paul is injured or need to rest
Harden was on fire then gave it up to cp3 to hold onto the ball and finish the game, he turns it over and lillard crashes into harden tryna chill in the backcourt. What a terrible sequence of events. Hope hes okay longterm
Yeah, Harden needs to realize that playing through minor injuries and then performing poorly because of that seriously hurts his reputation, and no one is going to give him props for his durability. Literally nobody cares about that (except for the Rockets fans.)
yeah if he didn't learn his lesson from last year then it's on him for not learning the importance of recovery & rest it's on Morey, MDA, Cp3, & the rest of the rox to get it done while Harden's recovering & resting
