Harden is the most complete offensive player since Carmelo.

    I would disagree.

Harden is fairly limited to certain area's of the court.

I don't believe he can be effective from the baselines, like he can from the key.

    If I were to rank the top three offensive players;
    1. Kevin Durant
    2. Carmelo Anthony
    3. James Harden
    Special Case: Lebron James

Kevin Durant is the best scorer and the best offensive player in the league. He needs to work on his post up game but only he can stop himself from getting to his spots and making shots.

Carmelo Anthony is the second best offensive player but the second best scorer. He can score from anywhere, easily has the most complete scoring game.

James Harden has faults in his offensive game. I would like to see him more off ball and continue to work on his midrange and post up game. But there is no denying that he has an elite ability to pass and play make that neither Durant nor Anthony have. Combine that with Harden's ability to get to the line and he is the third best offensive player.

LeBron James is the special case. If he wants to, he is the most devastating offensive player in the league. He might not be the shooter Durant or Melo are but no one can stop him from getting and finishing near the basket. Then add his elite ability to play make and pass and is the best offensive player in the league. But LeBron's mentality is more of a playmaker than scorer.

Harden makes the greatest impact on offense in the entire NBA. He helps both team score more efficiently than any other player. A truly complete two way offensive player.

harden should be run off of curls more often like paul pierce did on the celtics, from there he has many options depending on how the defense is playing him.. and dwight is lurking backdoor every single damn time

the spurs do it currently with manu but hes not nearly as versatile as harden potentially can be if the rockets staff would just use him more efficiently..

Absolutely, I believe he is the first person in history to achieve such a feat. They should make a first, second and third team for this category.

    Melo can't/doesn't pass.
    Harden has no postgame.

I guess you didn't have CSN RR because Harden is a clutch scorer.

I know Harden hate is 200% right now, but he was actually a pretty clutch player.

Also a great catch and shoot guy too. You can argue that he dominates the ball so much that it doesn't matter, but the skill is there.

Ummm Harden was very clutch last year. Where he missed the boat was:

    1) Kevin Durant?

    2) Post Game. The one thing harden doesn't have is a good back to the basket game. He is smaller than kd/melo but thats what really makes those two unstoppable
