    Dont forget Draymond suspension.

    Conveniently left out.

And then there was the whole before Durant joined the team thing.

With Durant on the Warriors, Lebron was getting his ass thoroughly handed to him every year.

This is simply not true. Take Harden off this team and we would be one of the worst teams in the NBA. Im just gonna ignore you lol The guy leading the league in scoring has the worst effort? So how is everyone elses effort that cant seem to hit a shot? There is just so much tunnel vision that you guys can only see Harden because ironically he does so much. How did things go last year for Lebron wiithout good role players? How did they go for Steph before he got "injured". I guess it was his effort lol

Ignore him. He hates Harden and would rather we traded him. He'll probably get his wish in the summer.

You say "every year" like it was many years. It was two seasons. A 13 month period. And Durant had way better teammates.

This game or not, tired or not tired, a good coach or not it's a known fact that Harden isn't a leader. Nothing controversial about it.

There are many other superstars who aren't leaders and even worse some are even malcontents.

    So?
Neither chemistry has metrics to be measured. Heck even defence except rim protection has no good metrics to be measured right now.

Just because they can't be given an arithmetic value does it mean they dont matter?

It's like saying just because you don't have a device to measure love, it doesn't matter.

Again, Harden has below average effort in every aspect of the game of basketball outside of iso scoring.
Your post doesn't address anything besides scoring.

I can tell you love Harden. The fact that you think the Rockets deserve Harden ditching the franchise as punishment shows where your true loyalty is

Never said it didn’t matter but it’s value is grossly overrated. Talent > Leadership.

Yeah and if they met more than 2 seasons, he would have still got his handed over to him by the Warriors.

And Durant had way better teamates...wahhhh...lol....

Way to stick to the point.

Here is the thing . . . he does not HAVE TO BE

Who was the leader of the spurs? POP!
The problem is he does not have a coach to be the Leader!

Sometimes the Leader is not the #1 guy
DWade was more leader in the 1st championship than LeBron
Jason Terry had alot of leadership with Dirk
Some would say Kobe was more leader than Shaq

SOMEONE has to be leader but it does not HAVE TO BE HARDEN
I think CP3 gave us some of that . . . . no one on this team is good enough for that but Westbrook

Talent is the dough and leadership are the hands that put a shape on it.

Harden isn't ditching the franchise. The Franchise are ditching him by giving him absolutely trash supporting cast for 8 years in a row.

I agree with your post but the leader on the spurs was also Duncan.

A leader doesn't have to be like Lebron who throws his teammates under the bus on social media.
Duncan was a quiet leader who kept the team together in hard times.

People don't realize how cerebral Duncan was. He was a great leader and a calming presence.

And your post doesnt address scoring ENOUGH. "Hey lets call Harden a bad effort guy and a bad leader. And hey lets take away the thing that he's legendary at so I can make my entirely stupid biased point ok? " no thanks... You dont want to take into account scoring because that kills your arguement. Harden scores the way he does because he has to. When we had more talent Harden didnt play as many minutes and didnt score as much. Also Harden is one of the best post defenders in the league. So he's one of the best scorers ever and one of the best post defenders in the league and he's the one guy on the team youre picking on? Really? lol

You need both leadership and talent. He has one of them. Today however he looked exhausted or like he has just given up. He needs to realize that he is 30yrs old and is no longer 29 yrs old. There is a big difference. No more clubs until the off season.
Tillman however needs to fork out the cash. If you have two players in their prime and getting paid 40 mill dollars you have to build enough depth so they can win the ring. That is all there is to it. Stop with the budget cuts and profit margins. Just spend the money now and profits will come. People will pay to watch a championship team. If he wants to fill the seats, Win! They need to find time for Harden to rest. His mind and heart may be willing but at some point the body is not.
That means adding depth to the lineup which will not be cheap. If TF wins a ring he won't need to do tours to sell his book. The championship will sell the book. Hell I am not buying his book until he proves to me he can build a winning formula with the Rockets. Until then he is a chump owner.
