Two games ago I did the math and figured out that he needed to average 35 ppg over the final 13 games. He has since dropped 40 and 39 on the Nuggets. If he keep up those kinds of games he can finish with his first 30 ppg season and if we finish 56 wins or better Harden's a lock for his first MVP as well...

nope, just on SC the other night, they were jerking off to Westbrook and Kawhi. They put Harden 4th behind Lebron, lmao.

33.9 ppg over the last 11 and it's his ... silly as it is, it might give the media people who need a 'round number' excuse to vote for Harden.

Also might help if he closes the scoring gap to less than the 2x the assist gap. With his assists on made 3s, he already accounts for more total points, but it will be easier to explain his superior offensive production to the simpletons if he is 1 point behind but 1 assist ahead.

Sure, he could still average 30 points, but can he average a triple double?

    Yeah...didn't think so. Westbrook MVP.

What is this different from "we could still win 60"?!

That OKC game has the potential to write much of the narrative of the MVP race.

Are you sure? To me it's a lose-lose situation for Harden

If Rockets and Harden win, narrative will be "Harden has a much better supporting cast around him. Westbrook is playing with a bunch of scrubs"

If OKC win, "Westbrook with lesser support showed today why he is the MVP"

With all that said, yes Harden has to play big and Rockets get the W
