The last player who did that is Kobe in 2007, he had four 50+ points game in a row, including two 60+ ones. Too bad we lost the game, but Harden's scoring elevates to another level this year, which he always does through out his career(his ppg increased every year in his career except for the year Howard joined the Rockets).

He needs help. Gordon is trustworthy. We know we can trust gordon but we need more from other players with capela/cp3 out

    Thanks for the stats.

And James Harden became the first ever NBA players to score 50+ consecutively and his team lost both games.

Is he also the only current player to let scrub guards go off against him on a nightly basis?

He went passive in the second half. Had he kept pushing the pace like in the first half game would have been over by midway in the 3rd. Instead they started posting him up or Trevor and Eric were throwing the ball away

That speaks more to Ariza and Tucker's defense tonight than it does Harden.

I know it doesn't mean nothing. This should be expected, our playoff depth is good, but our regular season depth is very bad, right at the bottom of the league. We have only 9 players who can contribute in meaningful minutes, and this makes us very vulnerable to injuries, especially when the way we use Anderson is figured out by the opponents and he has been playing really poorly recently. Nene can't play more than 20 minutes, so we really only have a 5 man rotation now.

even Curry or WB wouldn't have won this for us tonight

I'm pissed about this loss, but I want Harden to get his props for having the 50 point back 2 back games. If Westbrook or Lebron had two 50 point games while losing they would totally forget about the losing.

sorry, momentary selfish Harden moment. carry on.

I care about what Harden is doing. Harden is better than those guys IMO. Harden could have won this game if he got 10+ asts. That is expecting a lot from a player we already expect so much from.

don't mean much without the win.. unless it's a triple-double, then the media will claim Harden has no help (maybe).

so of all the rockets players/coaching staff in this game Harden is the only one who hasn't exceeded or met your expectations that's why we lost? LOL

You don't read well do you. I already regret getting into a conversation with you.

Harden is great he has exceeded my expectations (in the regular season) 3 years in a row now.. let's just agree on that.
