Harden about to get the biggest contract extension in NBA history

He deserves every penny and then some.

Chandler frikkin portions was making more for a few years than Harden, that's criminal.

Harden needs his back pay but this is a good start.

Workhorse, been a conssumate professional, elevating his play every year. Great on and off the court, this guy is once in a lifetime player and talent and person.

Glad he's a Rocket for a long time. Hopefully he can get over the choke stigma and show everybody what's good.

 

You didn't say why Chandler frikkin portions was making more than Harden for a few years. I'd be interested in hearing your theory about why that might have been.

I find it beyond sad that people can be so wrapped up in wanting their sports team to win that they will be so depraved as to celebrate a huge 'raise' for a guy that LAST GAME OUT - STRAIGHT UP QUIT! It was an insult to the game, the franchise, the fans and the city.... and we have yet to be given an explanation, apology or anything else... but hey it's all about winning, right... gotta keep those 'superstars' happy regardless of what they say or do... it's just flat out sad that people have developed such a warped sense of priorities... smh....

In this day and age - probably so... cause I'd be about working hard and building a culture - rather than chasing and selling my soul to self absorbed egotistical 'superstars'

but win, lose or draw.... I'd at least have some self respect...

He played poorly and you want to give him up because of that.

He also just recruited CP3 and possibly Carmelo.

So not taking a single shot and not grabbing a single rebound through the first quarter and half was just 'poor play' on his part.... you're entitled to your opinion.... personally, i think he has a far better level of ability than that... but hey, once again, you're entitled to your opinion....

I never said 'get rid of him...' but i wouldn't be giving him a huge salary jump based on his ending performance from last year... The NBA and its fully guaranteed contracts are detrimental to the game as it is...

 

There are 27 other teams in the league that would drop there best player in order to replace them with Harden.

If you don't Pay him you lose him.

 

Remember the last few games he played before OKC gave up on him? He didn't play well. But everybody knows now OKC was extremely foolish to break up their championship core.
Anyone who think OKC giving Harden away was the right move?
